About this leak

In June 2014 the hacker group known as Rex Mundi breached the customer databases of Dominos Pizza in France and Belgium. The attackers gained access by exploiting vulnerabilities in the web servers and subsequently demanded a ransom of 30000 Euros to prevent the publication of the stolen data. Dominos management refused to comply with the extortion demands. Following the refusal the threat actors leaked the information which contained sensitive customer details including names delivery addresses and weakly hashed passwords. The breach highlighted significant security flaws in the regional digital infrastructure of the global pizza chain.
