DoSeng.org

In January 2022 a database belonging to the Russian entertainment portal DoSeng was leaked and posted on a specialized hacker forum. The security breach resulted in the exposure of approximately 492000 user records. The compromised data includes sensitive information such as usernames email addresses residential regions and IP addresses. Furthermore passwords were found to be stored as MD5 hashes which are highly vulnerable to cracking by modern hardware. The incident highlight weaknesses in old hashing algorithms used by legacy entertainment platforms.
