About this leak

A major data breach involving the Russian food delivery service Dostaevsky occurred when a database was exposed to the public. The incident came to light in January 2024 although the data originated from the previous summer. The leaked information includes personal details of approximately 3 million customers such as phone numbers and physical addresses. Technical analysis revealed that user passwords were stored using the weak MD5 hashing algorithm without any salt making them highly vulnerable to brute force attacks. The leak also includes order history details which can reveal personal consumption habits and routines of the affected users.
