Dota2Hentai

In January 2021 the website known as Dota2Hentai suffered a significant data breach. An unauthorized party managed to access the user database which contained information on approximately 40700 registered members. The compromised data included unique usernames email addresses and passwords stored using the MD5 hashing algorithm which is considered weak by modern security standards. The incident exposed the private details of users participating in this niche community and highlighted risks associated with legacy cryptographic storage methods.
