In 2020 the Russian online store Dxracer.su which specializes in gaming furniture and accessories suffered a data breach. The incident led to the exposure of personal information belonging to approximately 9000 customers. The leaked database included highly sensitive details such as full names physical addresses email addresses and phone numbers. Additionally technical data including IP addresses and user passwords stored as MD5 hashes were compromised. This exposure puts users at risk of credential stuffing and phishing attacks due to the nature of the leaked credentials and contact information.
