Taiwan eGame-A

A significant data breach occurred involving the Taiwan eGame-A platform which is a gaming service based in Taiwan. The incident resulted in the compromise of a large database containing user credentials and personal identifiers. The breach exposed sensitive information including account usernames and hashed passwords along with email addresses and mobile phone numbers used for account registration. This leak surfaced on various underground forums and darknet marketplaces where such datasets are commonly traded for credential stuffing attacks and phishing campaigns. The origin of the hack is attributed to an exploitation of a vulnerability within the platform database infrastructure allowing unauthorized access to the user tables.
