Eldorado

A significant data exposure involving the Ukrainian electronics retailer Eldorado surfaced in late 2023 although the breach originated in 2017. The incident involved the compromise of four internal database tables containing customer information and order history. The leaked data includes personal identifiers such as full names, contact details, physical addresses, and birth dates. Additionally, sensitive information like passport data and bonus card numbers was exposed, affecting approximately 8 million individuals across Ukraine. The data was discovered in the public domain and likely resulted from an unsecured database or an internal system compromise.
