About this leak
In April 2024 hackers targeted the Moscow Information Technology Department infrastructure allegedly exfiltrating 40 terabytes of data. This breach impacted the Unified Medical Information and Analytical System known as EMIAS. The compromised information was later published in late August 2024 containing 19 million unique records. The exposure resulted from unauthorized access to government servers and subsequent database extraction including highly sensitive patient details and identity documents.
