About this leak
In February 2018 the photography marketplace EyeEm suffered a massive data breach that was later identified as part of a larger collection of stolen databases sold online. The incident involved the unauthorized access and extraction of a database containing approximately 22 million user records. The compromised information included unique email addresses, usernames, short biographical descriptions, and passwords stored as bcrypt hashes. This breach was linked to the same threat actor responsible for several other major service compromises during the same period.
