Facepunch

In June 2016 the Facepunch Games forum experienced a significant security breach affecting over 343000 registered users. The incident involved an unauthorized access to the forum database which resulted in the exposure of sensitive personal information. The leaked data included email addresses, usernames, IP addresses, and dates of birth. Additionally, salted MD5 password hashes were compromised. Facepunch Studios acknowledged the breach and stated that they had notified affected users at the time of the incident to reset their credentials and secure their accounts.
