About this leak
In late 2021 the Brazilian pharmaceutical delivery platform FarmaDelivery suffered a significant data breach. The incident exposed sensitive information of over one million customers. The leaked database contained personal details including email addresses and full names alongside physical addresses and dates of birth. Security analysis revealed that user passwords were stored as MD5 hashes with salt which are considered weak by modern standards and susceptible to cracking. The data appeared on various underground forums and data leak aggregators shortly after the compromise occurred.
