An unauthorized actor managed to download the user database which resulted in the exposure of sensitive customer information. The incident impacted approximately 155000 registered users. The leaked data includes personal identifiers such as full names and contact details alongside hashed passwords. The use of the MD5 hashing algorithm for passwords poses a significant security risk as it is vulnerable to decryption through brute force or rainbow table attacks.
