In early 2021 the niche adult platform Feetware club suffered a significant security incident resulting in the exposure of its user database. The breach included sensitive personal information such as usernames email addresses and hashed passwords. The data was subsequently circulated within underground hacking forums and darknet communities. The primary cause appears to be a vulnerability in the web application that allowed unauthorized access to the backend storage systems. This exposure puts users at risk of credential stuffing attacks and targeted phishing attempts.
