FinFive

In September 2022 a significant data breach affected the Russian microfinance organization FinFive. The incident involved an unauthorized access to the company database resulting in the exposure of sensitive customer information. The leaked records include personal identification details such as full names, mobile phone numbers, and email addresses. Additionally the dataset contains dates of birth, residential addresses, and internal passport information of approximately 200 thousand clients. This breach poses a high risk of identity theft and targeted phishing attacks against the affected individuals within the microcredit sector.
