In 2022 the Russian hotel reservation service 5turistov suffered a data breach exposing personal information of approximately 280 thousand users. The incident involved the compromise of a database containing customer profiles used for booking accommodations in the Krasnodar Territory region. The leaked records include sensitive contact details and personal identifiers which could be used for phishing or social engineering attacks against the affected travelers.
