FlashFlashRevolution 2016

In February 2016 the musical rhythm game platform FlashFlashRevolution experienced a significant data breach affecting their vBulletin forum infrastructure. The incident resulted in the unauthorized access and disclosure of approximately 1.8 million user accounts. Exposed data included sensitive information such as email addresses, IP addresses, and salted MD5 password hashes. The breach highlighted vulnerabilities in older forum software versions and put a large community of rhythm game enthusiasts at risk of credential stuffing attacks.
