In May 2023 the Italian motorcycle equipment retailer ForeverMoto suffered a data breach resulting in the exposure of its customer database. The incident involved the unauthorized publication of sensitive user information including personal identifiers and security credentials. Approximately 6 thousand records were compromised and distributed on dark web forums. The breach included names and birth dates alongside cryptographic hashes of user passwords stored in Bcrypt and MD5 formats which are vulnerable to cracking attempts.
