In February 2020 a database belonging to Forex4you was discovered in the public domain. Forex4you is a mobile trading platform. The exposed data consists of approximately 114 thousand records. Although the incident became widely known in early 2020 the actual data breach is believed to have originated from an earlier security event around 2013. The leaked information includes personal details of traders such as full names geographic regions email addresses and phone numbers. This exposure poses risks for targeted phishing and social engineering attacks against the affected users.
