The incident involved the unauthorized access and disclosure of sensitive member information. The compromised data included email addresses, usernames, and internet protocol addresses. Additionally, user passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salt were part of the leak, which poses a significant security risk as these can be cracked by attackers using brute force methods to gain access to accounts.
