About this leak

In October 2019, the Amazon seller management platform 4KMILES suffered a significant data breach. The incident exposed sensitive information of approximately 9.4 million Amazon customers. Although the company was founded in 2018, the vulnerability led to the exposure of customer data processed through their SaaS tools. The leak originated from an unsecured database that allowed unauthorized access to personal details of shoppers who had purchased items from sellers using the 4KMILES service. The data included real names and physical shipping addresses. While email addresses were present, many were identified as masked or system generated versions used for Amazon communications.
