A significant data exposure involving the Ukrainian State Automobile Inspection service occurred in 2023. The leaked database contains extensive technical records for approximately 17.3 million unique vehicles registered across the country. The compromised data includes vehicle identification numbers, license plate details, manufacturing years, engine specifications, and model brands. While the dataset lacks direct owner identification, the exposure of such a vast volume of structured transport data poses significant risks for vehicle fraud and automated tracking of national logistics.
