GetPaidTo

In July 2019 the rewards platform GetPaidTo suffered a security incident that led to the exposure of user account information. The breach involved the extraction of data from the vBulletin forum software used by the site. The leaked records contained sensitive user credentials including email addresses and usernames along with passwords stored as vBulletin hashes. Approximately 92800 users were impacted by this event. The incident highlights vulnerabilities often found in older forum software versions that can be exploited by attackers to gain unauthorized access to member databases.
