GoNinja

In December 2019 the gaming website GoNinja experienced a significant security incident involving the exposure of its user database. The breach impacted approximately 5.2 million registered accounts. Technical analysis revealed that the leaked data originated from a vBulletin forum system. The compromised information included sensitive user details such as email addresses and IP addresses. Furthermore the leak contained usernames and passwords hashed using the vBulletin algorithm which poses a risk of credential cracking and subsequent unauthorized account access across other services if users reused their credentials.
