HairPersona.ru an online retail catalog specializing in hair care products suffered a significant data breach in 2024. The incident resulted in the unauthorized exposure of two main datasets including approximately 156000 order records and 75000 user profiles. The breach occurred due to a cyberattack that allowed hackers to access the backend database. Exposed information includes customer names email addresses phone numbers physical addresses detailed order history and payment method preferences. Additionally user passwords were leaked in the form of insecure MD5 hashes which are highly vulnerable to cracking.
