HappyShopping a Ukrainian online retail store specializing in footwear and clothing experienced a data breach in 2023. The incident exposed sensitive personal information of approximately 1000 registered customers. The leaked data included full names email addresses and phone numbers. Additionally technical data such as customer IP addresses and security credentials specifically passwords hashed with SHA1 and salt were part of the exposure. This breach poses risks of credential stuffing and phishing attacks against the affected users due to the combination of contact details and weak cryptographic protection of passwords.
