In August 2021 the online educational platform Have Fun Teaching suffered a data security incident that resulted in the exposure of personal information belonging to approximately 79600 users. The breach occurred within their online store infrastructure leading to the unauthorized disclosure of customer records. Exposed data points included sensitive contact details and technical identifiers which could be leveraged for phishing or social engineering attacks targeting educators and parents who use the service.
