HCGames

In early 2020 the Minecraft server network known as HCGames experienced a significant data breach. The incident involved the unauthorized access and extraction of a database containing sensitive user information. The compromise was attributed to vulnerabilities in the server infrastructure which allowed attackers to dump user credentials and personal details. This leak was later circulated within gaming communities and credential stuffing circles. The exposed data posed a high risk for users who reused passwords across different platforms particularly within the Minecraft ecosystem.
