Hexui

In May 2016 the gaming cheat provider Hexui suffered a significant data breach affecting its community members. The incident involved the unauthorized access and exposure of a MyBB forum database. The breach included sensitive user information such as email addresses, geographic locations, and internet protocol addresses. Furthermore, names and nicknames alongside user activity logs and salted passwords were compromised. While the organization did not issue a formal public notice regarding the hack, administrators took the proactive step of forcing password resets for all registered accounts to mitigate further risk to the user base.
