The incident involved the unauthorized access and extraction of the customer database which was later circulated on various hacker forums and data leak platforms. The exposed information included personal details provided by customers during registration and order placement. The compromise likely occurred due to vulnerabilities in the web application or the underlying database management system allowing attackers to perform SQL injection or gain unauthorized administrative access to the server environment.
