IDressUp

In June 2016 the fashion social network for adolescents IDressUp suffered a major data breach caused by an unpatched SQL injection vulnerability. This security flaw allowed unauthorized access to the platform database for an extended period. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 5.5 million user records. The leaked data contained sensitive information including plain text passwords and email addresses which posed a significant risk to the young user base due to the lack of encryption and basic security measures.
