Imavex

In August 2021 the digital marketing and web design company Imavex suffered a significant data breach. The incident led to the exposure of 878 thousand unique email addresses alongside sensitive user credentials. Investigation revealed that the compromised data included usernames, passwords, gender information, and partial credit card details. Furthermore hundreds of thousands of forms and orders processed through Imavex client websites were disclosed containing extensive personal information of individuals who interacted with those systems. The leak represents a major security failure affecting both the primary service and its downstream business customers.
