In August 2021 the Intelligence X search engine experienced a significant data exposure incident. An attacker targeted the insert section of the platform which aggregates data from various sources including Pastebin and other similar services. The resulting archive contained approximately 46 million email addresses and numerous associated passwords. The breach highlights the vulnerability of platforms that index and store large volumes of public and private data from third party sources.
