In June 2015 the CSGO cheat provider website known as Interwebz suffered a security breach that compromised the personal information of approximately 5200 registered users. The incident involved an unauthorized access to the site database leading to the exposure of sensitive account details. The leaked information included member usernames email addresses and IP addresses along with passwords protected by IPB hashes. This breach targeted a niche community of Counter Strike Global Offensive players and demonstrated vulnerabilities in forum software security measures used by gaming service providers during that period.
