IP Index

A massive data aggregation known as IP Index surfaced in April 2024. This dataset serves as a reverse search tool linking specific IP addresses to associated personal contact information. The collection includes approximately 880 million email addresses and 200 million phone numbers connected to 420 million unique IP addresses. The data appears to be a large scale compilation from various sources rather than a single hack. Security researchers note that while dynamic IP addresses shift between users, the sheer volume of linked data poses a significant risk for tracking and deanonymization.
