In 2023 the Armenian IT services and recruitment platform ItreSources experienced a data breach that resulted in the exposure of sensitive user information. The incident impacted approximately 500 individuals associated with the platform which serves as a bridge between IT specialists and businesses. The compromised data included contact details and security credentials. Analysis indicates that the breach likely originated from a vulnerability in the web application or an exposed database instance allowing unauthorized access to the user management system.
