This incident originated from a breach at National Public Data which is a background check firm. The leak includes highly sensitive personal information such as full names physical addresses and Social Security Numbers. The data also maps connections between individuals based on shared residences. This specific release appears to be an enriched version combining the original National Public Data breach with secondary datasets to provide a more comprehensive profile of affected individuals.
