In early 2024 a significant data breach involving the Indonesian educational platform Jadiasn was identified. The incident involved an unprotected database that exposed sensitive user information to the public internet without any authentication requirements. The leaked records contain personal details of students and applicants preparing for civil service examinations in Indonesia. Security researchers discovered that the exposed server contained millions of records including contact information and internal system logs which could be used for targeted phishing or identity theft operations.
