In March 2020 the Brazilian delivery service James Delivery suffered a significant data breach that later appeared for sale on the darknet in June 2020. The incident involved the exposure of 1.5 million unique user accounts. The compromised data included sensitive information such as customer email addresses, geographic locations, and passwords stored as Bcrypt hashes. This breach was part of a larger collection of 14 previously unknown data violations released by a malicious actor around the same period.
