JDBBX

In November 2016 the Chinese gaming platform JDBBX suffered a significant data breach affecting millions of users. The incident resulted in the unauthorized exposure of sensitive account information including registered usernames and email addresses. Most critically the leak included user passwords which were stored using the MD5 hashing algorithm making them vulnerable to decryption through various cracking techniques. The breach impacted approximately 4.8 million registered accounts highlighting vulnerabilities in the sites data protection measures and authentication security at that time.
