JustPex

The Minecraft gaming server known as JustPex suffered a significant data breach in July 2021. An unauthorized third party gained access to the server database and subsequently published the sensitive information of approximately 8000 players. The leaked data included player nicknames, IP addresses, and passwords stored as AuthMe hashes. This incident highlights the security risks associated with private gaming servers and the potential for credential exposure among younger user demographics.
