The breach compromised approximately 37 thousand records containing personal identifiers and authentication data. The leaked dataset included user nicknames and IP addresses alongside passwords stored as salted MD5 hashes. This method of password storage is considered cryptographically weak by modern standards and susceptible to cracking. The incident highlights vulnerabilities in legacy hashing algorithms used by regional retail platforms.
