A significant data breach occurred on the official Russian Kia website on January 9 2025. The incident involved the exposure of approximately 820 thousand customer records. The leaked database contains sensitive personal information including full names email addresses and phone numbers. Additionally technical and transactional data such as IP addresses order history loan applications and vehicle viewing logs were compromised. This exposure poses a high risk of targeted phishing and social engineering attacks against Kia customers in the region.
