In February 2023 the Russian ticket sales service KinoKassa suffered a data breach. The incident involved the unauthorized access and subsequent leak of a database containing customer information. The exposed data includes email addresses and phone numbers of users who purchased movie tickets through the platform. The leak specifically impacted approximately 88500 customers. The data appeared on various dark web forums and Telegram channels dedicated to leaked databases within the Russian segment of the internet.
