In May 2022 a significant data exposure occurred involving Kinoplan a major Russian cinema ticket system developer. The incident involved the publication of four JSON files containing data from the Filmcass booking platform. The leaked information includes approximately 6 million customer orders revealing sensitive personal details and transaction data. This breach was caused by an insecure database or misconfigured server allowing unauthorized access to order histories and user profiles across multiple cinema chains using the service.
