A major data breach affecting the Russian establishment rental service Klub31 occurred in 2023. The incident resulted in the public exposure of a database containing information for approximately 767 thousand users. The leaked data primarily consists of user email addresses and passwords stored as MD5 hashes. The source of the compromise appears to be related to unauthorized access to the service backend systems which led to the exfiltration of the user management table.
