Krasnoe&Beloe

In June 2019 a significant data breach involving the Russian alcohol retailer Krasnoe and Beloe was discovered. Initially appearing as a smaller data set of 100000 records the database was subsequently expanded through iterative hacking and aggregation. The final leaked collection reached approximately 17 million unique records. The exposure included sensitive personal details of customers across the Russian Federation. The incident highlighted vulnerabilities in the retailers customer loyalty data management systems allowing unauthorized access to a massive portion of their consumer base.
