In June 2020 the Indonesian financial service KreditPlus suffered a significant data breach resulting in the exposure of approximately 896000 user records. The incident involved the unauthorized access and subsequent distribution of a database containing sensitive personal information. Leaked details included full names email addresses family structures information about spouses income levels and expenditure data. Additionally religious affiliations and employment history were part of the disclosed dataset. The information was initially discovered on underground forums and later indexed by major breach notification services.
