The incident involved the unauthorized access and extraction of a database containing sensitive customer details. The leaked information included email addresses, full names, dates of birth, and IP addresses. Additionally, user passwords stored as MD5 hashes were compromised, which poses a significant security risk as MD5 is considered a weak hashing algorithm susceptible to cracking.
