About this leak

In June 2020 the hardware cryptocurrency wallet manufacturer Ledger suffered a significant data breach due to an API misconfiguration on their marketing and e-commerce database. The incident led to the exposure of personal details belonging to approximately 270 thousand customers who purchased products and over 1 million email addresses from newsletter subscribers. The stolen data was initially traded on underground forums before being published for free on RaidForums in December 2020. The breach resulted in widespread phishing campaigns and physical threats targeting Ledger users.
