LucasForums

In May 2016 the Star Wars fan community site known as LucasForums suffered a significant data breach. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 154000 user accounts. The leaked data originated from a vBulletin forum database and included sensitive information such as usernames email addresses IP addresses and passwords stored as salted hashes. The breach became public knowledge after the data was shared in the hacking community and subsequently indexed by breach notification services.
